The ST700P is closely related to the ST900 family of Siemens high performance traffic controllers. It is designed for use as a pedestrian controller and provides Pelican, Puffin and Toucan control strategies. The new advanced ST750P pedestrian contoller range including an Extra Low Voltage option will be available from early 2009.
Based on the range of successful Siemens intersection controllers it offers many features particularly focused to meet the needs of traffic engineers seeking efficient pedestrian control.
Recognising the need for installation flexibility, the ST700P provides three housing solutions, compact ST700P outercase, standard T400S and ST800 outercases and universal upgrade module.
The ST700P design is optimised for pedestrian control, providing built-in low voltage wait drives and sufficient I/O for most Pelican, Puffin and Toucan applications. Where required, integral OTU and I/O cards may be used to expand the controller. The controller is also fully compatible with the Siemens semi-integral OMU.
ST700SE intersection controller (international)
Based on the highly successful ST800 family of high performance traffic controllers, the ST700SE is a cost effective solution to the efficient control of small intersections.
Despite its small size, the controller provides the full range of control and signal sequence options required in the international market, and is fully compatible with the Siemens SCOOT UTC, DUSC and remote monitoring systems. It does not however meet the more stringent UK requirements contained in UK TR2210, which are addressed by the ST800 for the domestic market.
