
He is responsible for corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions and 'Siemens One' in the UK - a global focus towards co-ordinating Siemens' co-operation across its businesses to support customers.
Previously, Kevin was Managing Director of Siemens Transportation Systems from December 1997, with responsibility for the management and strategic development of Siemens’ rail business in the UK. Privatisation in the UK provided significant market opportunities during Kevin’s involvement in the business, and Siemens Transportation Systems now ranks as one of the most significant companies in the rail industry, courtesy of its rapid growth.
Kevin joined Siemens Transportation Systems as Finance Director in 1995 and became General Manager for the Railway Communications business in 1996.
He joined Siemens in 1990 following the company’s acquisition of Plessey’s defence business, where he had worked since 1986. Kevin’s responsibilities encompassed a wide spectrum of financial roles within the international engineering environment.
Kevin completed a commercial apprenticeship with Westland Aerospace, qualifying as an accountant in 1988.
