As Country Compliance Officer, Gerard also is responsible for coordinating Governance and Compliance with the United Kingdom under the Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines. He also sits on the Pension Strategy Committee of Siemens in the UK.

Before joining Siemens, Gerard built up a wealth of experience in the commercial sector as a self-employed business consultant and before that as a partner with Bevan Ashford, Solicitors.

Gerard studied law at University College, Oxford and subsequently took a MBA degree at Bath University. He is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
