Andreas first joined Siemens in 1985 as a management trainee. Having held a number of management assignments within Siemens in the USA and Germany, he took over the position of CFO of Siemens plc here in the UK in April 2006 before becoming Chief Executive in June 2008.

Andreas is also a Director of Siemens Holdings plc, Siemens IT Solutions and Services Ltd., Siemens Enterprise Communications Ltd. and Siemens Real Estate Ltd. and a member of the UK Executive Management Board.

Andreas is a member of the CBI “Economic Affairs Committee”.
