After studying energy technology and energy economics at the University of Hanover in 1995, Jens commenced his career with Siemens Power Generation in Offenbach, Germany, as a project manager for sales of new plants and new plant services in the Middle East.
Since then, Jens gained over nine years of experience in project development and sales, in particular in selling large independent power and water projects in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. He was appointed head of sales for the Middle East in March 2004, a position he held until assuming his role in the UK.
Jens is married with one son and enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, digital photography and golf in his spare time.
