It’s determined to improve its complex business processes, implement new policies faster, spend public money more effectively and deliver better services to the people of Wales.
The improvement will be driven through a £200 million combined ICT service and business change programme scheduled to run over at least the next 10 years, and is to be delivered in an innovative partnership by the National Assembly and an alliance of providers.
Siemens is leading the alliance, with PA Consulting Group responsible for the business design and change activities and Cap Gemini supporting the establishment of programme and project standards and handling application development projects.
More than 50 Siemens employees work at the Assembly’s sites across Wales to deliver telecommunications and videoconferencing systems and to upgrade and support desktop PCs, servers and networks. They will ensure that the new IT structure is fully capable of supporting the changes to the Assembly’s business processes.
| "Siemens and the alliance are bringing energy and new ideas to our problems and they’re willing to listen and work with us to find solutions." |
