Accreditation
Our employees are undoubtedly our greatest asset. Whatever level you join us at, we’ll work hard to nurture your talent and curiosity, develop your skills and realise your potential. A number of our businesses have received Investor in People accreditation, reflecting the effort we put into powering our people’s development. Here are a few examples of our commitment...
Qualified success
We often offer National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) - especially for people in hands-on electrical and mechanical engineering roles or at the start of their careers with us. NVQs not only equip you with the skills you need to do your job effectively, they also help you to add to your professional skill set.
Read more about NVQs in our Apprenticeships section.
Core Learning Programmes
A business of our size and scope has a great deal of expertise. We’ve distilled it into our suite of Core Learning Programmes. These modular development programmes are designed for people in specific sector areas, including General Management, HR, Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, Procurement and IT. By teaching you how to succeed the Siemens way, we’ll help you to find the answers and compete with the best in the world.
Training for leaders....
Show us your management potential and we’ll encourage you to take part in our People and Business Management Programmes, part of the Core Learning Programmes suite.
There are a variety of programmes tailored to your level of experience, whether you’re starting off your managerial career, you want to learn more about how to manage teams, or if you’re looking for strategies on how best to manage your managers.
All three programmes will help you to develop as an individual and as part of a team; it’s also an opportunity to network and share knowledge with peers from around the business.
...and for leaders in their field
We also offer specialist programmes for people who’d rather be leaders in their field than lead others. A prime example is our pm@siemens UK Academy designed for project managers – we’re the first non-training organisation in the UK to receive accreditation from the leading professional body, the Association for Project Management (APM).
