In partnership with the IET, we offer Power Academy students a combination of financial support and workplace mentoring. The Power Academy is designed to help address a serious shortage of heavy power engineers in the UK and operates through eight universities: Manchester, Loughborough, Queens Belfast, Cardiff, Southampton, Imperial, Bath and Strathclyde.

E3 Industrial Academy
Through the E3 Academy, we offer three or four year sponsorship to undergraduates studying Electrical (Energy) Engineering at the Universities of Nottingham, Bristol or Newcastle.
We have an individual sponsorship with the University of Cambridge, where Siemens Magnet Technology division offers an undergraduate support programme for two 1st year Engineering/Natural Sciences students each year, for a period of three years. The successful students receive financial support, plus industry experience within Magnet Technology, which is a world leader in the development and production of magnets for MRI applications.
Siemens also offers a bursary scheme at the University of Lincoln. Bursaries are available to full time BEng and MEng students who make their Lincoln their first choice. The package includes financial support, plus summer work placements with Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery in Lincoln.
