Minimum Requirements
Higher Apprenticeship Siemens Energy - Transmission and Distribution, Energy Transmission
Applicants should normally have a BTEC National Certificate in a similar or related discipline OR GCSE A level qualifications in Mathematics or Science (Physics or Engineering).
Siemens Energy - Service Fossil and Transmission & Distribution
GCSE grades 'C' or above in:
- Maths
- English
- Science
- ICT (advantageous)
Siemens Energy - Service Renewables
- GCSE grades 'C' or above in Maths, English, Science, ICT (advantageous)
- Ability to work at height and in adverse weather conditions
- Competent swimmer
- Full driving licence before completion of apprenticeship

- Verbal & Written Communication Skills - able to get your point across clearly & persuasively face to face, on the phone and in email;

- Drive and Motivation - whatever it is that you want to do, you want to be a success and have the ambition and energy to make it happen.
What happens next?
Keep checking your account at www.apprenticeships.org.uk. Once your application status is IN PROGRESS you’ll receive a letter inviting you to the testing stage.
The assessment process depends on the scheme but it’s likely to include
- Psychometric testing, to help us gauge what you’re naturally good at
- Telephone interview
- Site tour of the business you want to join
- Assessment centre and/or face-to-face interview.
