The all-new Strategy Manager forms part of the latest software release of Siemens’ Comet UTMC common database solution. Building on extensive experience gained from wide ranging customer applications, Siemens’ new strategy manager within Comet streamlines automation of all traffic management operations.
Using a completely new, yet intuitive operator interface, Comet allows easy configuration of strategies for automatic control of your transport network. Embedding visual “drag and drop” methodology, strategies can now be created quickly and effectively to manage the most complex conditions with minimal effort.
Introducing multiple states, with varying priority levels, it is now possible to completely automate routine management with confidence using the new Siemens strategy manager within Comet.
New trigger conditions are included for a wider range of automated operations, including the fault status of critical equipment to prevent the partial implementation of strategic plans. Creation of automated triggers is made easy with visual testing of all conditions to easily ensure that only the correct combination of conditions with result in the implementation of a strategic management plan.
Each individual strategy contains multiple states, allowing complete situations to be managed with minimal overhead and the option to include priority on all commands for total automation. Additionally, the retention of historic versions provides complete confidence when evaluating new ideas or methods of control.
Accessible by any client PC which is connected to the system, regardless of whether the full Comet application is installed, the new Comet strategy manager application brings powerful options for automated control within reach of all users. Using the new visual configuration tools, automated operations can be easily created which reduce your daily workload in managing the traffic control systems.
